Wow!  What an exciting time to be involved with Coquille Parks & Recreation.  We are looking forward to 2010 and what this year will bring for all of our programs.  We are also very excited about the expansion and Master Planning Process that we are starting at the park.

St. Tammany Recreation District 14 (RD14) is developing a Master Plan reflecting the community's commitment to improving the quality of life in the region.  Beginning with a vision statement, which will shape future decisions, the Master Plan Process then includes completing an inventory and assessment of the existing facilities and programs currently offered by RD14.  This step is followed by stakeholder input, which then informs the development of both a long-range development plan and site specific development recommendations.

What's going on at Coquille Parks & Recreation?

Youth Programs...
Basketball Registration is currently going on for Ages 11/12 Girls and Ages 13/15 Boys & Girls.  You can register on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM @ Coquille Office.  The fees are $75.00 for 11/12 Girls and 13/15 Boys & Girls with an $50.00 out of district fee per family/per sport.  Players must be of age by 09/01/09.  Please bring proof of residency & birth certificate with you to register!  No Cash - Checks only, made payable to Recreation District 14.  Please contact the Basketball Director, Todd Herbet, through email at toddh@coquillerecreation.com with any questions.

Adult Programs...
The Adult Sports Program will take a break for a few months due to the fields & gym being used for youth sports.  We are planning on starting back up with another league in April, the sport will be Co-Rec Volleyball.  Please continue to check this page for updates on future Adult Sports Programs at Coquille Parks & Recreation.
